As of the past year, though, I have been wondering about where/when and how kinksters, at the local, national, and even global level, are going to get back to their naughtiness (if they will at all), so I checked in with some folks I knew who would have a good perspective on the future of kink groups, players, and BDSM culture in general.

In this particular column, though, I am ‘catching you up’ as it were on my doings. I am sure, like you, I found there is just so much cleaning out a closet/jigsaw puzzle-making/baking I can stand (actually since I work from home doing this writing thing, my work situation didn’t change all that much in the time of COVID). But I did get into something new and what I am about to tell you about is as much about porn stars, juicy sex-positive happenings, and kink as it is about me, so I feel somewhat justified (somewhat) telling you all about my new podcast, Licking Non-Vanilla.

The Novelty Expo will feature, 250 Innovative Brands, 30 Workshops & Seminars and 20 Networking Events. Beyond perusing the latest dildo or maybe scoring an autograph with one of many adult stars walking the floor, there will be talks over copyrights in the adult space, how cam performers can better their income and how toy makers can better sell their products. The general view (at least as we see it shown across Spike TV) is that the real action at AVN happens after dark, and at the raucous awards show, which takes place on the 27th. But all that one can learn during the day should not be missed. Lots of deals are made on that main exposition floor as well as business relationships solidified and established.

Publisd in ebook and paperback through Renaissance E Books/Sizzler Editions a year ago, “Chris” was approached by publisher Wordwooze to release the audio book version of his collection of Erotic SF short stories.
