We Talk with the Hard Rocking and Goth Glam Madame Mayhem
Hard rockin’, ‘Goth Glam’ petite Madame Mayhem grabs you by the **** with her unique style and opera-trained voice and never lets go. I caught up with the lady as she stepped out of a rehearsal in her N.J. home state (she was born in Manhattan) to talk about what she’s all about and what’s happening for 2017 for her.

We Talk with Rob Cimitile of Builder of the House
Our live set uses a combination of acoustic drum set and looped percussion samples. We wrote many of the songs on Ornaments utilizing this instrumentation, so when we went into the studio we made a decision to embrace the mix of acoustic and sampled/looped percussion throughout the album.
We Talk with Gil Marsalla about PIAF! THE SHOW
We have produced over 300 concerts in 33 Countries in just two years! So far the best audience was in South America. They are completely crazy for Piaf music. The quietest audiences are in Japan. But, in each country, Edith Piaf is a star and audiences are very expressive. Anne represents her so well that she gets standing ovations many times each evening. Audiences are very participatory. They cry, shout, and laugh with Anne. Piaf! The Show is the best example that music is universal.

We talk with Slaves on Dope’s Kevin Jardine and Jason Rockman with Darryl McDaniels
Sometimes this ride I am on for S&S is just too cool for words. Yes, I get to meet porn stars, see movies well before any of you and listen to some great music. I recently had occasion to meet Kevin Jardine and Jason Rockman of the band Slaves on Dope (check out my review of their new CD here, it’s killer) and a legend who happened to collaborate on one of the songs on their new release, none other than Daryl McDaniels, ex of Run DMC. A nicer, more informed and informative trio you’re never going to meet
Talking tea (and trees) with Mélisse L’abeille of Steep For The Trees, Inc.
While we big city hipsters walk around with our noses buried in our cell phones as much as we do searching for our next dose of Starbucks, imbibing tea seems to be more an ancient and relaxing (even medicinal approach) to destressing from life and enjoying a beverage. I had the good fortune of talking to Mélisse L’abeille co-owner/creator with her partner John of the Steep For The Trees, Inc. brand of tea. Founded just last year the couple was determined to own/establish their own business while they were still in their 20’s, as much wanting to give back to a foundation that planted trees. Finding the “Trees That Feed Foundation†to contribute proceeds to, John and Mélisse offer their wonderful teas as much as make contributions to help end hunger in the Caribbean and abroad with their tea sales.
