Breakthrough at Iceland Airwaves


Bloc Party. Florence and The Machine. TV On The Radio. Want to follow in the footsteps of this amazing list of talent and perform at Iceland Airwaves?

Three American bands will get the chance to go to Reykjavik to perform at the internationally celebrated music festival October 12-16, 2011! The selected artists will receive a weeklong trip to Reykjavik including travel and lodging, and the opportunity to perform live on stage at Iceland Airwaves along with this year’s lineup which boasts headliner Björk with her Biophilia live show, Agent Fresco, Sin Fang, The Violet May, John Grant and a host of international acts. Included throughout the week:

• Performance on Iceland Airwaves stage
• Off venue gigs
• Featured airplay
• Access to Iceland Airwaves performances
• Tour of the Golden Circle
• Parties and events at Reykjavik’s hottest clubs and bars
• Airfare and hotel accommodations for one week

OPEN TO US BANDS ONLY. Iceland Airwaves reviews all entries and all decisions are final. All band members must be 25 to enter. Contest ends September 5, 2011. All band members must have valid passports and be eligible to travel October 10–October 17, 2011. Contest terms and conditions available upon request.
